Wow. This NOT overdramatic gem seems to be a representation of all the things that become between 2 people who want to be together but just have not enough in common. That is of course represented here by the black between the broken pieces of the heart. I believe this "too much" had something to do with a girl I dated for 3 weeks in 9th grade.
